Trans Euro Express is an international freight transport company with solid roots in Romania. Our success story began in Bucharest, in 1994, with two employees, one truck and a clear mission: to transport goods across Europe while delivering trust at every destination. Today, Trans Euro Express operates its own fleet consisting of 300 modern Euro 6 Volvo trucks providing reliable, fast, flexible and customized international road transport solutions, perfectly adapted to customer needs.

Our story
1994
Trans Euro Express 94 was founded, with 100% Romanian capital. We set off with a single truck on a mission to become a reliable logistics partner for clients in Romania and Europe.
1998
Our fleet reached 10 trucks. We signed our first exclusive partnerships with several Italian companies, a milestone that accelerated the development of Trans Euro Express. We also began a solid collaboration with Volvo — a partnership that remains valid today.
2003
Trans Euro Express steadily grew. We then had 30 state-of-the-art Volvo trucks, and our routes covered most European commercial roads. Shortly after, we received recognition from the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for our business performance as an international freight transport company from Romania.
2010
We became an official DHL partner, and our fleet expanded further with 40 Volvo trucks. We offered complete coverage on major commercial routes in Europe, with 24/7 availability.
2014
Our truck fleet reached 160 vehicles, and we started operating the first Euro 6 models, demonstrating our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.
2023
We owned 253 Volvo trucks and signed a series of new major freight transport contracts.
2025
We reached 300 Volvo trucks and consolidated our position as a reliable logistics partner in the international road freight transport sector, fully capable of managing complex, safe, and efficient transports across Europe.
